Caregiversreferred byGRISWOLD SPECIAL CARE are ready to provide these services and more, according to the specific needs of those who are older, convalescing, post-hospitalization, disabled, alone, or at risk, regardless of whether help is required for a minimum of four hours on one occasion during daytime hours (eight hour minimum overnight), or 24 hours, seven days a week.
We also refer Caregivers to provide temporary relief to those family members or friends of the family who have been the continuous caregiver and are in need of respite.
Many inquiries about our services come from adult-children with one or both parents experiencing signs of dementia, physical difficulties in performing their activities of daily living, or other maladies. They're at a loss how to address these issues for mom or dad and oftentimes, understandably, they don't even know where to begin.
For those living in an area of the country apart from their parents, who have the added responsibility of raising their own children, their situation becomes even more complex and worrisome.
